Alex KH6YY owns and sponsors the Pupukea Contest Station sitting on a high ridge above Waimea Valley on the north shore of the island of Oahu.
It is one of the premier amateur radio contesting stations in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It’s location in Hawaii provides a commanding propagation path over expansive salt water.
We participate in most major contests year-round with a team of active, competitive operators from Hawaii, augmented with operators from the mainland U.S., Japan and many other countries. We strive to maintain a top-ten position in major contests.
